CORE VALUE OF LEO EDUCATION – CHILD CENTEREDNESS
The core of child centre’s education is to help the child become independent and confident. Children are born to be learners and their development possesses specific patterns and characteristics. Understanding and respecting children is an important principle of childhood education . A core value is a central belief clearly understood and shared by every member of the school community. We believe in COMMITMENT, OPPORTUNITY, RESPECT and EXCELLENCE. As we build child centred program we’re trying to think about filling the mind as well as heart of the children. Under the major premise of understanding and respecting children, appropriate co-ordination among the three parties shall enable children to develop their potential and lead them to a healthy life. By developing good learning habits and interest in learning, children will be well prepared for lifelong learning. The self esteem movement basically said that we needed to Compliment kids around the clock .Our goal as educators and parents should be to create a true safety net where children can strive and learn knowing that they are loved and treasured.School is a miniature of society and a bridge between family life and social life. We create an environment that is nurturing, supportive and our belief that learning at its best is a joyful process . In a co-operative and harmonious environment, society, family and school can work together to build a bright future for children where they are supported and valued.
BASIC PRINCIPLES OF LEO EDUCATION CURRICULUM
Our curriculum at Leo Group of Institution encourages children to be academically inquisitive and to take responsibility and initiative as they move into structured phase of their schooling and is formulated according to the basic principles of “children’s development” and “children’s learning”. Teachers’ planning of these two aspects helps in curriculum planning and arrangements for learning and teaching. Teachers can draw on these two sources of knowledge as the basis for educating children through practical tasks , problem solving , investigation skills , and the use of oral and written language .Children develop at varying rates, and have different interests and abilities. Teachers understand and respect the unique developmental pattern of every child, in order to foster children’s initiative in further developing and enhancing their knowledge and ability.
ORIENTATION PROGRAM
We have organized an interactive Parent Orientation Session (POS) for the Parents. This session shall help you to familiarize yourself with people, places, procedures and process with regards to your child’s world at Leo group of Institution. Kindly make a note of the following schedule for the same. Let us understand that attending orientation session is vital as each child is depending on you for their bright future.
The session is strictly for the parents only. School kit shall be given after the POS. Attendance is compulsory.
SSC (SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE)
2019 has been an eventful year in Leo family thanks to the combined efforts and co-operation of management, staff, students, parents and alumni we successfully came up with Leo Kids High School & Jr.College. The present study is set against a background of significant changes in the educational system in India .The evolution of Maharashtra State board is giving different dimensions to the education system in India . English is the medium of instruction, communication and examination in this institution. It is has been set to frame the General Intelligence , Reasoning , Quantitative Aptitude among the students. It is an educational board under the governance of India.We follow the guidelines set and conduct class exam at the state level in Term 1 and Term 2 and performance of the students is done in Formative Assessment and Summative Assignment which includes open book test , weekly test , orals , practical , written test etc The school, through various activities, inculcates in students a positive inclination which helps helps in improving great development.In Leo family , along with imparting knowledge it also tries to foster innovation, cultivate values, create creativity, build character, instill self discipline and enkindle wisdom in the lives of the students which in turn has brought forth change and transformation in the lives of people.
*JUNIOR COLLEGE *
In the year 2019 Leo Group of Institution has successfully come up with Junior college. With science, commerce and art’s stream . Students are given a friendly atmosphere in college as they have begun with there college journey. Orientation day was kept on the first in which parents were explained about all the three streams. It was a proud moment for all the members of Leo family. Every hard and positive effort are been undertaken for all round development of students .The students are provided practical knowledge and well equipped classrooms with laboratory facilities, library and computer lab and also international competitive exams . We The Leo Group of Management aims to “inspire and enable a better world through our scholarship and teaching about management and organization.

Curriculum
Since Leo School is affiliated to IGCSE & SSC, It developed National Curriculum framework, syllabi and text books based on the national educational policy documents of 1968 and 1986. The NCERT curriculum articulates the goals and objectives of the national system of education with built in flexibility and it ensures greater adaptability.
At the Secondary Stage (STD IX & X) the main objective of learning is to develop higher order communication skills with grammatical accuracy and appropriateness of style.
As per SSC, students are offered a common scheme of studies up to ten plus two years of general education.
Teaching Methods and Experimental Learning

- Theme based teaching and celebration of color days; object talk, puppet show, role play etc. are a regular part of the curriculum in the pre- primary section so that children learn by play-way technique.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1.Every student must be in school campus 10 minutes before the reporting time. If pupils are late they are liable to be sent home at the parent’s risk. No child is permitted to leave the school premises during the recess or otherwise. Half day or early leave shall not be given to children unless it is on medical ground and it shall not be considered for 100% attendance record.
2.Parents are requested to refer almanac daily and sign duly.
3.Parents must fill the Leave record in the almanac whenever Leave is taken.
4.Divisions are allotted very meticulously. No changes shall be done once the divisions are allotted. It is a humble request to all the parents to co-operate with this regard as changes in division will help the children to learn many new things and to make new friends.
5.To respect the property and equipment of the school and the cost of replacement items will be borne by student(s) responsible for the damage .
6.To keep the school environment and local community free from litter.
7.Absence of students without a valid reason will be considered as truancy .
8.Do leave the areas in a better condition and state of cleanliness after use.
9.Students must wear the prescribed school uniform and any modification is strictly not allowed except alterations.
10.Fancy hair styling , tinting , highlighting of hair are strictly not allowed for all the students .
11.Respect each other at all times. Disagreement will be settled by discussing the problem and seeking a solution that is fair to all concerned.
12.Leave the premises immediately after school duties /responsibilities are completed.
13.Buying / selling of personal items and trading are not allowed .
14.Students will be counselled in addition to any consequences.
15.Students are expected to comply with all the school rules to obey all laws .
