As it is rightly said ,” Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality “. In Leo there is great interest and activity in student leadership. We involve students in leadership activities which help them to develop cultural intelligence, professional advancement . They are one of the most practical and helpful strategies for gaining the cooperation of other students and increasing the value that they and their families place on schooling. Schools parliaments provide an opportunity for students to participate in the running of their school and empower others . They are a vehicle for them to express their opinions and participate actively in decision making. It gives an opportunity to develop leadership by organising school activities, service projects and also community welfare . At Leo Group of Institution we believe strongly that one of our key role is to develop leadership skills for all students and harness personal courage to capture the hearts and minds of others .

The committee meets on a regular basis and involves the School Parliament members from grade 1 . Their opinions are frequently sought in other areas too. Primary students also have the opportunity to play a role in many other aspects of the day to day running of the school. The function of the student council is based upon parliamentary procedures. Each week a different captain is in charge of each team. This allows additional leadership opportunities a great way of promoting our schools’ ethos of participation and valuing all the students.
